Homestay

As part of the cultural program, the Australian Centre arranges homestays in local households so that the overseas students have the opportunity to experience family life in Australia and discover more about the city of Melbourne in an English-speaking environment. It is also a great opportunity for host families to learn more about other cultures. The focus of our program is on cultural interaction and exchange and although it is also a wonderful environment for ESL students to practice their language skills, homestay is also a popular option for students from other English-speaking countries.
