Submit Feedback Immediately via the Web

Would you like to contribute information to the project?

If the answer is yes, please complete the feedback form below. As well as answering specific questions, there is plenty of room for you to offer further information and comment upon things we mightn't have thought of.

You might want to write about friendships in play; what the games meant to you; how you learnt the chants, skipping games, etc; what roles and attitudes adults – parents and teachers – had to your play; the relevance, if any, of your family's income, nationality, culture, etc. This is not a comprehensive list – please feel free to write about any aspect of the play you think is significant.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ACTIVITY

Are you describing a:

What was it called?

At what school/s was it played, chanted, sung, etc?

(Please provide the name of the school/s, as well as details of the suburb, city, state or territory. You can list more than one school.)

When? What Era?

(Answers like 'in the 1950s', '1962-63', ‘Summer 1997’ are fine. We DON’T mean ‘during recess’ or ‘at lunchtime’.)

Who played?

(Choose as many options as you wish)

How old were the children who played?

(age and year level – approximates are fine)

Describe the activity in as much detail as you can remember.

If possible, include information about where it was played (e.g. in the shelter shed, on the adventure playground), how many people played, whether it was a seasonal activity, whether there was a special language involved, whether it required the use of equipment, whether children of different ethnic backgrounds played, and so on.
